Terms of service

1. What we provide

BT Exam Practice is an independent study tool for people preparing for the RBT® (Registered Behavior Technician) examination. We provide practice questions with explanations, diagnostic and mock tests, and, for a one-time fee, a study plan with scheduled re-tests (the "Re-test Loop").

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or Pearson VUE. RBT® and BACB® are trademarks of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Our questions are original and are not the exam's questions. Our practice scores do not correspond to the official passing standard, and nothing on the site is a prediction of your exam result.

2. Free services

The free tools work without an account. You may use them for your own study. We may change or withdraw free features at any time.

3. Accounts

The paid plan requires an account identified by your email address. You sign in with a code we email you; there is no password. Some emails we send, such as a results report, include a one-time sign-in link. Keep access to that email address secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy the plan. One account per person.

4. Payment

The Re-test Loop costs $49, charged once, in US dollars, by card through our payment processor. Access lasts 90 days from purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Prices may change for future purchases; the price you paid does not change.

5. Refunds

Refunds for the Re-test Loop are governed by our refund policy, which is part of these terms. In summary: complete your plan before the exam, take the exam within 90 days of purchase without passing, upload your Pearson VUE score report within 30 days of the exam date, and after confirmation we refund the full $49 to the original payment method. One refund per person.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, republish, or sell our questions, explanations, or other content;
• share your account or sign-in links with others;
• use automated tools to access the site except as we allow (for example, search engine crawlers following robots.txt);
• attempt to interfere with the site, other users, or our systems;
• upload false documents in a refund request.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund.

7. Your content

If you upload a score report or send us feedback, you give us permission to use it to provide the service, process your request, and improve the site. Score reports are used only to confirm refund eligibility and are deleted after processing as described in the privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its questions, explanations, concept library, design, and software belong to BT Exam Practice or its licensors. You may use them for personal study only. Names of third parties, including the BACB and Pearson VUE, belong to their owners and are used only to describe the exam.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided as is. We work to keep every question accurate and mapped to the current Test Content Outline, but we do not warrant that the content is error-free or that using the service will produce any particular exam result. Information about exam rules, fees, and requirements is provided for convenience; the BACB's current publications control.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost income from an exam result.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms. Changes do not reduce refund rights for purchases made before the change.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing any claim, you agree to contact us at hello@btexampractice.com and give us 30 days to resolve it.
