Refund policy

Updated 2026-11-05

This policy applies to the Re-test Loop, the one-time $49 plan sold by BT Exam Practice ("we"). It is the same text you see before you pay. The free tools on this site are not covered because nothing is charged for them. BT Exam Practice is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with the BACB or Pearson VUE, which administer the RBT® exam.

The four steps

  1. Complete your plan before the exam. Finish every drill in the plan you bought and both reserved mocks, P1 and P2. The checklist is frozen at the time of purchase, so later additions to the question bank do not change what you must complete. Your account page shows your progress against the checklist. The plan is sized to your exam date, at about one set of up to 10 questions a day plus the two mocks, so the checklist is not the whole question bank.
  2. Take the exam at least 7 and at most 90 days after purchase, and do not pass.
  3. Upload your score report within 30 days after your exam date. Use the refund request form in your account. The report must be your Pearson VUE score report and must show the exam date and the not-passed result. You may cover anything else, including identifying information you prefer not to share.
  4. We confirm and refund. A person reviews the request. After confirmation, we issue a full refund of $49 to the original payment method within 5 business days. We absorb the payment processing fee; nothing is deducted.

What is not covered

  • A plan bought less than 7 days before the exam. You can still buy it, and checkout asks you to confirm that it is not covered.
  • Not completing the checklist before the exam, including completing it after the exam.
  • Taking the exam more than 90 days after purchase, or not taking it.
  • Requests made more than 30 days after the exam date.
  • A second refund for the same person, including under a different email address.
  • Change of mind, not using the plan, or dissatisfaction unrelated to an exam result. If something is broken or we made an error, email us; we will fix it or refund you regardless of this policy.

Why the completion condition exists

The refund is a promise about the plan, not about any single practice score. The plan works only if it is completed: drills in your weakest domains, re-tests of missed items with new scenarios, and two unseen full mocks. Requiring completion keeps the refund fair to people who did the work and keeps the price at $49 for everyone.

Questions

Email hello@btexampractice.com. Refund requests themselves go through the form in your account so that the score report is stored securely rather than sent by email.
